ZEST AIR flies to Kalibo from Shanghai

Zest Air made another huge leap when it made through its maiden flight from Shanghai, yes, Shanghai, China going to Kalibo in Aklan. Joining the Shanghai support team in welcoming the initial batch of Chinese passengers are Tourism Attache Gerry Panga and Consular Attache Niel Ballesteros of the Philippine Tourism Office-Philippine Consulate General in Shanghai, Mr. Bai Qing Hua, President of Jinyu Air Service Co. (Zest Air's local partner), and other officers from Jinyu Air Service Co. and Phil. Straits Travel. Zest Air's regular scheduled flights will run 2x-weekly from Pudong Airport, Terminal 1.

Kalibo is the gateway to the world-famous Boracay Island. Beach holidays and other leisure programs are offered by partner key agents such as Spring International, Shanghai Airlines Tours, Ctrip and Merry Travel.

Recently, as part of its on-going expansion, Zest Air added another flight from Manila to Tacloban City. It now has 2 flights a day to Tacloban. First flight leaves Manila at 4:20 AM and leaves Tacloban at 5:35. On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, its second flight leaves Manila at 11:45AM and goes back at 1:00 PM while on Thursdays and Saturdays it leaves Manila at 1:50 and leaves Tacloban at 3:05.
